Türkiye Sigorta Agency Academy

With our innovative perspective, we offer training and development opportunities designed with up-to-date content tailored to the needs of our employees. As a leading company in the sector, we design inclusive and value-creating projects by ensuring that not only our employees but also all our stakeholders benefit from these development opportunities.

One of these initiatives contributing to sustainable success and development is the Türkiye Sigorta Agency Academy, which was established with this objective. Through this project, we are initiating a long-term development journey for our agencies by fostering collaboration between the insurance sector and universities. In addition to enhancing the professional and functional competencies of our agencies, we aim to support their entrepreneurial and managerial capabilities through training programs that create measurable and sustainable impact.

Financial Literacy

Integrating sustainability criteria into our corporate strategy has been one of the most important milestones for Türkiye Sigorta. Our efforts to improve and mitigate risks related to ESG impact topics enable our company to take a forward-looking approach in the insurance market.

A key component of this strategy is financial literacy education. Beyond offering insurance products and solutions, we aim to promote insurance as a culture of protection. We prioritize spreading knowledge so that individuals and institutions invest in this culture and understand the importance of insurance as a way to improve financial planning. We work to expand a culture of prevention through insurance, educate society, and ensure access to insurance products.

Economic Support through Insurance Products

Reaching consumers who have never purchased insurance products before and expanding insurance awareness across society while contributing to social welfare is among Türkiye Sigorta’s priorities. In particular, we develop solutions aimed at protecting low-income consumers and their families against potential risks.

Our product portfolio includes solutions that secure the future of families in the event of accidental death of the insured and cover education expenses, as well as products designed to enable individuals to insure their assets with affordable premiums.

Responsible Procurement

We recognize the impact created through procurement activities within our operations, particularly in areas such as environmental resource management and inclusiveness. As Türkiye Sigorta, we work together with all stakeholders in our value chain to improve environmental, social, and governance processes, create new business opportunities, and reduce risks.

As Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik, we aim to progress together with our suppliers on our sustainability journey. In this context, we prepared a survey for our suppliers to better understand their environmental and social development levels. The results of this survey will provide valuable insights to further strengthen our collaboration.

As the largest insurance company in Türkiye, we have a broad supply network consisting of 813 active suppliers. By working with local suppliers wherever possible, we increase our contribution to the national economy. In this context, we made total payments of TRY 3,053 million to our supplier network in 2025 through our prioritized procurement activities.

Sustainable Finance

When making investments, people often focus only on financial returns. However, investments also have long-term impacts that affect future generations. Therefore, as Türkiye Sigorta, we consider it our responsibility to evaluate companies’ ESG practices in order to encourage the market to use natural resources more efficiently and minimize the environmental impacts of products and services.

As of 2025, we allocated 1.7% of our portfolio to sustainable financial assets. These investments include renewable energy generation, issuers with environmental commitments, and infrastructure projects.

Ethical Conduct and Ethical Sales

Beyond fulfilling their responsibilities, Türkiye Sigorta employees are expected to uphold the general principles and working standards of the organization by preventing disputes and conflicts of interest. Protecting the company’s reputation and considering the quality of life of the people we work with form the foundation of our ethical principles.

Based on our core values of impartiality, integrity, and confidentiality, we are responsible for acting with care in every corporate decision. We also ensure that sales conducted by our distribution channels are carried out in accordance with our ethical principles.

Public institutions, private sector organizations, media, and all stakeholders we interact with are equally important to us, and we operate on the basis of mutual respect. In the event of any misconduct, we take immediate action and evaluate the situation with the relevant authorities.

The Health of Our Planet

As representatives of the insurance sector, which plays a key role in sustainable development, we advocate for a business model transformation that is compatible with nature. Looking ahead, we focus on managing greenhouse gas emissions, water use, Zero Waste practices, and biodiversity through preventive and mitigating actions.

In İzmir, where efforts were ongoing to combat forest fires, we donated 20,000 saplings on behalf of our valued agencies and colleagues. These collective efforts reinforce our mission to provide security for millions while contributing value to our country.

Strong Society

Türkiye Sigorta sees it as a responsibility to use its strength not only to lead in its sector but also to serve the well-being of society. The company has adopted the Insurance Ethical Principles as a guiding framework.

In 2025, our initiatives aimed at revitalizing social life and insurance activities in the earthquake-affected region continued uninterrupted. In Hatay, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, and Adıyaman, basketball courts were constructed and 3x3 basketball tournaments were organized in collaboration with the Turkish Basketball Federation. These events aimed to bring young people together through sports, strengthen social solidarity in the earthquake region, and support the reconstruction process. The final match of the tournament took place on 18 May 2025 at the Basketball Development Center, where the winning teams were awarded in a ceremony.

Tek Yürek Project

Launched to support the revitalization of social life and insurance activities in the earthquake region, the project reached 41,000 people through solidarity dinners organized during Ramadan. Events carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent also included basketball and football areas for children, along with various social activities.

Support for Village Schools

Before the start of the new academic year, children living around Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University were provided with gifts consisting of essential supplies to support their school life.

Forest Fire Response and Sapling Donation Initiative

Within the scope of the sapling donation initiative carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, we aimed both to contribute to the fight against forest fires and to celebrate the company’s 5th anniversary in a meaningful way. Accordingly, on behalf of our agencies and employees, we donated 20,000 saplings to be planted in areas affected by fires in Bursa and İzmir, contributing to the restoration of our forests.

Sports Sponsorship and Social Contribution

Our sponsorship support for the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League and the Türkiye Sigorta National Basketball Teams continued in 2025 as one of our most significant social responsibility initiatives contributing to sports and youth.
