Türkiye Sigorta Agency Academy:
As Türkiye Sigorta, we offer training and development opportunities designed with up-to-date content tailored to the needs of our employees through an innovative perspective. As a leading company in the sector, we design inclusive and value-creating projects that allow not only our employees but also all stakeholders to benefit from these development opportunities. One of the projects that contribute to sustainable success and development is the Türkiye Sigorta Agency Academy, which was established with this purpose in mind. Through this project, we are launching a long-term development journey for our agencies by focusing on cooperation between the insurance sector and universities. We aim to carry out training programs that will make a difference and can be closely monitored by providing our agents with the opportunity to improve not only their professional and functional competencies but also their entrepreneurial and managerial roles.

Financial Literacy

The inclusion of sustainability criteria in the company’s strategy is one of the most significant milestones for Türkiye Sigorta. The efforts we make to improve and reduce risks associated with ESG impact areas enable our company to gain greater foresight within the insurance market. A fundamental part of this strategy is financial literacy training. Beyond offering insurance products and solutions, we prioritize disseminating knowledge to help individuals and institutions understand the importance of insurance as a means of improving financial planning and fostering a culture of protection. We work to promote a culture of prevention through insurance, to educate society, and to ensure access to insurance products for all segments of the population.

Economic Support Through Insurance Products

One of Türkiye Sigorta’s top priorities is reaching out to consumers who have not previously purchased insurance products, to both promote insurance awareness across society and contribute to public welfare. We develop product solutions aimed at protecting low-income consumers and their families against potential risks, including products that provide financial assurance for the family and education expenses in the event of accidental death of the insured, as well as products designed to cover the insured’s assets with affordable premiums.

Responsible Procurement

We are aware of the impact we create through procurement activities, especially in terms of environmental resource management and inclusiveness. As Türkiye Sigorta, we work collaboratively with all stakeholders in our value chain to improve environmental, social, and governance processes, create new business opportunities, and reduce risks. Together with Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik, we aim to progress alongside our suppliers in our sustainability journey. To better understand their level of environmental and social development, we conducted a supplier survey, the results of which provide valuable insights to further strengthen our cooperation.


As Türkiye’s largest insurance company, we have an extensive supplier network consisting of 575 active suppliers. We prioritize working with local suppliers wherever possible, thereby increasing our contribution to the national economy. Within this framework, we made a total payment of 1,088 million TL to our supplier network in 2024 for prioritized procurement categories.

Sustainable Finance

When investing, people often focus solely on financial outcomes; however, investments also have long-term impacts that affect future generations beyond short-term financial results. Therefore, it is our responsibility at Türkiye Sigorta to evaluate companies’ ESG practices, encouraging markets to use natural resources more efficiently and minimize the negative environmental effects of products and services.
As of 2024, 1.7% of our investment portfolio has been directed toward sustainable financial assets. These investments include renewable energy generation, environmentally committed issuers, and infrastructure projects.

Ethical Conduct and Ethical Sales

The purpose of Türkiye Sigorta employees goes beyond fulfilling their duties; it is rooted in upholding general principles and the work order by preventing any form of dispute or conflict of interest. In addition to maintaining the importance of our corporate image, ensuring the well-being of those we work with is a cornerstone of our ethical philosophy. Our main principles of impartiality, honesty, and confidentiality form the basis of every corporate action we take. We are equally meticulous about ensuring that all sales conducted by our distribution channels comply with our ethical principles.
We treat all entities we interact with—public and private institutions, the media, and other organizations—with equal importance and mutual respect. In the event of any ethical misconduct, we act immediately and evaluate the situation with the relevant authorities. We ensure that all sales conducted through our distribution channels adhere strictly to our ethical standards.

The Health of Our Planet

As a representative of the insurance sector—one of the key industries in sustainable development—we serve as a driving force for business model transformation in harmony with nature. Looking ahead, through our efforts to create positive impacts and implement preventive and mitigating measures, we focus on greenhouse gas emission management, water consumption, zero waste, and biodiversity within our operations.
In 2024, to support efforts against forest fires in İzmir, we donated 7,047 saplings on behalf of our esteemed agents and colleagues. These collective efforts reinforced our mission to provide assurance to millions and our commitment to adding value to our country.

 

Strong Society

Türkiye Sigorta considers it its responsibility to use its strength not only to lead in its field but also to serve the well-being of society. The company has adopted the Ethical Principles of Insurance.
In 2024, our efforts to revitalize social life and insurance activities in the earthquake-affected regions continued uninterrupted. We carried out activities across various districts of Hatay, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, and Malatya to support the region’s recovery and the return to normal life.

Tek Yürek Project:
Launched to help revitalize social life and insurance activities in earthquake-affected regions, the project reached 41,000 people through Ramadan community dinners. In collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay), sports fields for basketball and football were set up for children, and various social activities were organized.

Support for Village Schools:
Before the start of the new academic year, we delivered school supplies and gift packages to children living around Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University to support their education.

Forest Fire and Sapling Donation Activities:
To contribute to reforestation efforts, 7,047 saplings were donated in İzmir on behalf of our agents and employees. These efforts reinforced our mission of providing assurance to millions and our commitment to creating value for our country.

Sports Sponsorships and Social Contribution:
Our sponsorship of the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League and the Türkiye Sigorta National Basketball Teams continued in 2024 as one of our most significant social responsibility initiatives contributing to sports and youth development.
