Inquiries regarding unclaimed funds by beneficiaries can be made under Article 26/A of the Regulation on the Private Pension System as published in the Official Gazette with issue number 30638 dtd. December 27, 2018. The payment to beneficiaries (accumulation plus vested state contribution) is earned interest in standard/participation standard funds based on the participant’s or company employee’s most recent interest-bearing/non-interest-bearing investment preference at the payment date. The beneficiaries can receive the funds in the account upon their request.In accordance with the applicable regulation, any money left unclaimed by its rightful owners will be moved to an account at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) within six months after the tenth year, unless claimed within ten years from the payment date. If not claimed within two years, the funds held by the CBRT will be marked as revenue for the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. Details about the unclaimed funds will be accessible on this website for ten years starting from the first business day of February after the payment date and for two years from the first business day of February in the year following the transfer to the CBRT.
